Toss the toxins

Read labels and educate yourself on the chemicals that have an adverse affect on YOU and the environment. Most traditional cleaning products are loaded with unnecessary chemicals like There are basic ingredients like baking soda, castile soap & vinegar that can tackle so many cleaning tasks. All of the brands like Blueland, Grove Collective, etc are free of phylates, etc

  • Buy from companies you trust who are doing good things with their profits. I adore Who Gives a Crap for their lovely wrapped TP and the great work they do improving sanitation in other countries

  • Do your research – check ingredients lists before you buy and choose products. You can reference resources like EWA and Yuka as a guide…but they are far from perfect. Best to just stay away from

  • Make your own – You can make your own cleaners using readily available ingredients such as: vinegar (5% is best for cleaning), baking soda, coconut oil, lemon, salt and essential oils for fragrance. Check out the book Simply Living Well for recipes (I use their laundry soap recipe and it even impressed my Tide using husband)
